Final Standings

Congratulations to the winning team from Cornell University: Lars Backstrom, Michael Connor, Jeffrey Hoy, and coaches David Kempe and Martin Pal.

I would like to especially congratulate Stevens Institute of Technology team 1, the Top Freshman-Sophomore Team. They came in fifth place overall, an incredible accomplishment. We hope to see them again next year.

The head judge, Ron Pacheco, decided to name award the Brooklyn College B team third place, along with the NYU 1 team. The two teams solved the same number of problems, and their times were separated by just one minute. We are adding a new rule, which will go into effect next year: teams that solve the same number of problems, and whose times are separated by 3 minutes or less, will tie.

The problems are also available.
